The Just for Fun Games Club is a great place to make friends and play all sorts of old and new games. We meet in the Card and Game Room at the CAC (Central Activities Center) every Saturday at 1 p.m., and on the second and fourth Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. There are multiple games being played at the same time and you will always be able to choose what game you want to play. We are not too serious – because we play games Just for Fun!
We have a large collection of games on hand. Players often bring new and different games as well. If you have any games that you would like to donate or lend to the club, please let us know.
Come join us! Even if you are not good at games, everyone is welcome to come and have a good time at the Just for Fun Games Club!

GAME OF THE MONTH:
Texas Hold’em Poker
Texas Hold’em is the most popular of all poker variations. In this game, each player is dealt 2 ‘hole’ cards, then 5 community cards are placed in the center of the table for all players to use. Each player makes the best 5 card hand possible using the 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards. We will teach you how to play if you don’t know how. All are welcome.
Our fall potluck will be on Saturday, October 20. We will meet in the Art Room (next to the Card and Game Room) at 11:00 a.m. for lunch and then move to the Card Room for games at 1:00 p.m. Please bring enough of whatever you prefer to share for about 8 persons. Your dish can be an appetizer, salad, main dish, dessert, sweet, savory, whatever.
