PG&E has announced that a Public Safety Power Shutoff is likely for Wednesday, November 20, possibly for an estimated 36 – 48 hours.

OVA has received notice that the providing of a generator is uncertain during this Public Safety Power Shutoff.

Please Be Prepared To Be Without Power For Up To 48 Hours

If a PSPS occurs all OVA buildings and facilities will be closed.

Power shutoff preparation may include:

  • Filling your car with gas
  • Freezing containers of water to be placed in fridge to keep food cold
  • Stock food (preferably not requiring refridgeration)to sustain you for up to 48 hours
  • Charge your electronic devices especially cell phones

Certainty of a PSPS is increased 12 hours prior to the warned start-time. Please check Nixle alerts and other provided resources often.
