First wall done..
The art and photos are hung in the upstairs section, but not in the lower section which still needs work to complete it. The works were selected because they were interesting, happy, whimsical, beautiful, and generally intriguing to look at. Several people and factors made this happen. The artist and photographers, Iris Harrell, David Dearden, Katy Carrel, Linda Begelman, the Oakmont Art Association, and 28 financial donors provided the works, organized the printing of the originals, and covered the expenses of printing the artist’s works, all of which the artists allowed copying free of charge. We sincerely thank all of you who were involved in any way. This is a truly outstanding art display of worthy works by local artists and photographers of Oakmont.
