21 local authors will be selling and signing their fiction and non-fiction books on Saturday, July 9, from 12-3 pm at the Berger Center. Admission is free and the general public is invited to come mingle, chat with authors and buy their latest offerings. The event is the brainchild of author Nadine Condon with the Soroptimists Oakmont Wine Country. A portion of monies will be donated to the Soroptimists educational funds for girls and women. There will also be raffles and refreshments to raise additional funds for these scholarships. Notable authors participating besides Condon (Confessions) are Peter Richardson (Savage Journey), Cynthia Goodwin (God-Inspired Devotionals For Daily Life!), Frederick Weisel (The Day He Left) and Elizabeth Quiroz (Purified in The Flames), an author who herself benefited from Soroptimist funding. A complete list of local participating authors can be found at http://nadinecondon.com/
