Bocce Holiday Party & Winter Play Time

HOLIDAY PARTY DECEMBER 8: The 2018 Bocce Club season wraps up with a highlight and always well-attended final event of the year, the Holiday Dinner Party for club members and friends. The party begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 at the West Rec. Center followed by a catered Italian buffet dinner at 6 p.m. and surprise entertainment at 7 p.m. BYOB. Reservations are due no later than today, December 1.

WINTER PLAY TIME 1:00: The Bocce Club continues regular Monday through Saturday play at 1 p.m. at the West Rec. bocce courts, with the chip draw for teams and courts at 12:45. We encourage anyone interested in learning about bocce to drop by – we’ll have you playing and enjoying the game immediately!

2019 DUES: Dues are $15 per person per year, payable now for 2019. A Membership form is included below and forms also are available at the West Rec. bocce courts and in the Bocce Club folder at the OVA office. New members joining in the last quarter of 2018 will be considered paid in full for 2019.

TOURNAMENT NEWS: Winning teams in the November 3 Falling Leaves Tournament, the last tourney of the year, were: Elaine Foote, Sherry Magers, Linda McPherson & Barbara Newton; Rita McBride, Geoffrey Newton, Jean-Michel Poulnot & Jim Tosio; and Bob Cresta, Jeff Clemence & Don McPherson.
