The Club’s traditional Summer Picnic was on Saturday, July 16, preceded by regular play. The Oakmont Market catered the event. Members were asked to bring appetizer, salads, and desserts to share. Pictures will be in the next issue of the Oakmont News.
Grandparents’ Club Kids Day will be Wednesday, July 27 and Friday, July 29 at 10 a.m. There will be a sign-up sheet posted at the Bocce Courts for volunteers to help. It is rewarding to us as volunteers to see the children have such a good time. No regular play on these two days.

Several new members have joined in the recent weeks. Prospective players interested in about the game and the Oakmont Bocce Club are always welcome during daily play. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
We recently loss a dear friend, Frank Giannini. Frank was a true golf enthusiast and recently a really good Bocce player. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the Giannini family.
