The Cal Alumni Club of Oakmont is pleased to announce that we are having a dinner at the Valley of the Moon Club, Oak Restaurant, on January 26. The price will be $48.00, which includes hosted cocktails, appetizers, a buffet dinner featuring tri-tip and salmon, roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and salads. There will also be a vegetarian option available with advance notice. Dessert, wine, coffee, and tea will also be included.

We will follow the COVID mandates that are in place at that time.

Payment and reservations MUST be received by January 14, and no refunds or reservations will be taken after that date. Please call Linda Williams at 707.322.6272 for reservation and payment information. If you are not an alumni of UC Berkeley, please consider attending as a “Friend of Cal”. Linda can give you information on that as well.

RESCHEDULED: Trash-Can Composting

Concern about the renewed COVID spread and Omicron Variant has been expressed to us. Additionally, we are advised that the parking lot at the East Rec will be closed to car traffic for that week. To that end, the Oakmont Garden Club feels it is prudent to cancel the January 11th General Meeting. Shirley Phillips presentation of “Trash Can Composting” is rescheduled to March 9.
