This could be YOUR DOGS Photo featured right here!

• We are looking for some new “Fido Fun Fotos”. Have you visited our website yet? Your fur baby could be a future photo star right here in the Oakmont News. Please send in your favorite photo of your pup, as we have not received many new photos for a long while. The dogs currently on the Gallery of the Club’s web site are getting lonely! Please send your photos to Steve, our “Membership Guy” so your pup can join the others on the web site. If you have not been there before, the Gallery is at http://oakmontcanineclub.org/gallery

Mark Your Calendar

• The clubs first meeting for 2019 was well attended as we learned all about “Paws 4 Healing” from our guest speaker Donna Forst and her wonderful friend Cabo, who stole the show! With all of the interest generated, perhaps the club will be setting up car pools for certification training. We will follow up with Donna and be ready to help. Be sure and save the date for our next club meeting, which is scheduled for March 22nd at 4pm in the West Rec. Also feel free to suggest a topic or a speaker that you would like at a future club meeting. Need to contact us? Names and contact info for all Canine Club Board Members is always available on our website.

UPDATE Dog Park • Ad Hoc Committee informed us that they are officially under contract with a surveying firm and hoping to complete the survey work within 30 days. Next step will be to engage the Landscape Architect and others to draw up plans, update cost estimates, and complete permit applications. More to come as things proceed.
