Some "Save the Dates" For Your New 2022 Calendar

Small Dog Play Date
The first event of the New Year is a Small Dog Play Date at Happy Tails Dog Park on Saturday, January 8th, 10 AM – Noon. Any Oakmont resident and their pup, 25 lbs. or less is invited to attend. Happy Tails Dog Park is located at 6302 Stone Bridge Rd. The Dog Park is the only place in Oakmont (other than your own backyard) that your pups can run and play leash free. Rain will cancel this event!

Dog Walk Yappy Hour
Don’t miss out on the next Dog Walk Yappy Hour! This will take place on Monday, January 10th and the meet up place is the E. Rec Parking lot at 10 AM. The walk is approximately 1 – 2 mile Round Trip. Wear good walking shoes and bring water for yourself and your pup. This is open to all Oakmont residents so spread the word. Rain Cancels!

Please Note All of the 2022 Dog Park Play Dates & Yappy Hours listed on the Canine Club website: http://www.oakmontcanineclub.org under the Meetings/Events tab; you will find expanded dates for both Yappy Hour (to twice per month), and Dog Park Play Dates (including new Play Dates such as: “Doodle/Poodle Dog” Play Day, or “Little White Dog” Day, So be sure to get those dates marked on your calendar.

Doggy Docents Needed For 2022
If you have approximately one hour per week to Volunteer to welcome new visitors and assist in efforts to keep Happy Tails Dog Park a clean and safe environment for canines and humans, then join the Doggy Docents team. Returning members – Have you sent your renewal check yet? Canine Club 2022 Dues are due in January and remain $12 for single membership or $20 for a household. Not a member yet? New Member application can be found on the Canine Club website: http://www.oakmontcanineclub.org or in the Club folder at the OVA Office

Make checks payable to “Oakmont Canine Club.” You may return check to Canine Club folder in OVA office; Mail to club treasurer; or simply drop it into the secure garage box at his home mail box.

Another good reason to renew or join for 2022, Oakmutt “Just for Fun” Dog Show will return in June. If you have a pup you’ll want to join the fun. Although this event is open to ALL Oakmont residents and their pups, Canine Club Members receive some special perks.
