Canine Club is on vacation till September

• No club social activities are planned for July/August but do plan to attend our meeting September 20th. Meeting details will be announced later this summer. However, lack of a summer meeting does not mean we will not be busy. In response to member requests, we have gathered information and posted on our website, local resources for pet sitting and dog walkers. Although the club is not making any recommendations or endorsements, we are providing a list of resources to make it easier for you to find what you need this summer. If you are a service provider and would like to be added to the list, email

Coming Soon… Club Activity Survey

• The club will be sending out to members a survey asking what kind of pup activities you would like to engage in with other members. Some suggestion already received are for matching up members with friends for dog walks; exchanges for day dog sitting; rides to the vet; or sale & trading of dog supplies, clothing, etc. If you have already completed your survey, thank you. This is YOUR club so your input is very helpful. If you did not receive your survey or cannot find the email, it is also posted on our website at

Update on the Dog Park

¯ “Happy Tails to you…until we meet again…” and on that Note the new dog park has been named Happy Tails Park. Again nothing new to report. We are still waiting to hear back from the city on the permit process. As soon as we know anything new, we will post it here and keep you up to date.
