WHEN: June 3rd.. Monday / TIME: 2:00 PM / WHERE:  Upper West

Our speaker will be Kaylynn Cardoza who is the Dispensary Manager at Mercy Wellness™.  Kaylynn also serves as theSenior Advocacy Representative for Safe Access and has a passion for outreach within the community.   As she researched CBD to cope with stress and increased anxiety, Kaylynn quickly found Mercy Wellness™ and in the process found herself a new job!

As Kaylynn became a medical cannabis patient herself, she embraced this new journey and found herself on the forefront of bringing vital information and education to Seniors facing chronic illness, pain and the need for a calmness that comes with end of life care.  Kaylynn continues her work at Mercy Wellness with plans for expansion of the Dispensary’s Senior Advocacy Program.

As the geriatric counselor at Mercy she offers personal face-to-face consultation with a guide to navigating the dispensary so that a Senior new to this medicine will feel confident and welcome knowing what to expect during their visits. She will cover cannabis therapeutics, product examples and explanation of dosing with the Dispensary edibles, tinctures, capsules, smoking, topicals, salves and patches.   If a Senior presents a doctor’s recommendation she will work with the Senior with the necessary legal requirements, and when a family needs to assign a CareGiver, she will assist in the legal and offer the same compassionate approach to the CareGiver on behalf of the patient.

Also speaking will be Julie Ann Soukoulis, owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Rohnert Park.  Everyone is welcome.
