Rain clouds cleared so the sun could shine on the 16thAnnual Oakmont Car Show on the Berger Center parking lot. Visitors to the Saturday, May 26 show peered at and into vintage cars, hot rods and other vehicles that brought back memories to seniors. Many also had lunch, dining on hamburgers and other entrees from the Village Market.

Marlene, Pat and Devin McBride were among those drawn to a 1913 Model T Speedster next to the Oakmont Drive lawn.

You enter this 1959 BMW Isetta 300 through the front that opens as a door. Gloria Pente and Barry Power talked over the unique auto.

Rlon Benson, left, tells Bill and Marlene Bloitajno about his ’58 Corvette’s features, including a “Do Not Touch” sign.

Ken Smith sang and played his guitar over the white 1955 MG convertible/pickup he restored in his Oakmont garage.

When fire swept their Glen Ellen home, Jim and Colleen Galvin’s 1946 Chevrolet pick up escaped with the fire-scarred cabin burned badly. It’s still runs, Galvin said. Here, he talks with Troy Sowers.
