Community Church (5/15/2019)

Hello Beloved Community

We hope you had a great Easter and Mother’s day. Are you excited that we have had some exceptionally nice days? I sure am. The sun feels great. But you know even on sunny days there can be clouds and even on cloudy days there can be sun. All we can do is trust that the Lord is there in the midst of it all.

In the Bible, Joshua says in chapter 24:14-15, “Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness… But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” We at Oakmont Community Church choose to serve the Lord and we will serve him joyfully. It would be lovely if you joined us on Sunday mornings for worship, but if not, we pray everyone in our community has a blessed day.
