A virtual public hearing on the Elnoka proposed development’s environmental impact will be held Thursday, May 27 at 4 p.m.

You can view and/or comment by going to srcity.org/VirtualParticipation.

Written comments must be submitted before mid-June and sent by email to Kristinae Toomians, Senior Planner, Planning and Economic Development at ktoomians@srcity.org. She can be reached by phone at (707) 543-4348.

The proposal outlines Elnoka Continuing Care Retirement Community project plans for 676 residential units (housing 975 residents) on some 68 acres of land adjacent to Oakmont. It includes living assistance for memory or physically impaired residents.

The draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) can be downloaded at https://srcity.org/DocumentCenter/View/32194/Elnoka-CCRC-Draft-Environmental-Impact-DEIR

Please note that the file is quite large, and takes a bit of time to download – even with fast internet service.

Reminder: There is a Town Hall on Tuesday June 1 at 3 p.m. We will be discussing what we know so far and solicit comments and feedback on the Elnoka project from OVA members.
