Oakmont resident, Ernie Rose ran a Documentary Film Series in Oakmont for over a decade. His 200+ films included documenting the Iranian Revolution for the State Department, involvement in the Kennedy assassination, and a close working relationship with famed journalist Edward R. Murrow. He and Murrow conceived Sounds from the Jungle at the request of Pat Brown, then Governor, to document life in San Quentin. Join us in honoring Ernie and sharing this unique documentary.
