Thursday, August 19, an evening event of bocce and food was held at the Bocce Ball Courts. A group of 28 people attended. A special “thanks” to Elaine Foote, Bob Cresta, Barbara James and Bob and Ellie Baciocco for preparing for the event. We enjoyed food and drinks before play began. A fun time was had by all who attended the event.
The September 4th event has been canceled due to the renovations of the courts. Tony D’Agosta was in charge of the renovation of the courts which were badly needed. On Saturday, October 9th at 9:30, the Autumn Tournament, Potluck and Annual Meeting will be @ the East Rec. I’m sure all of us will enjoy playing on the new courts.
Bocce Ball is a game that anyone can play, so if you have been thinking of trying Bocce, come join us. We play six days a week. Hope to see everyone soon.

Living in constant concern, anxiety and fear robs the good from each day. Deep breathing and reading comics may be ways to cope. Talking to a positive person might be another. And still a third: exercise.
