Square dancing has been called “Friendship set to music”. The Oakmont Squares are looking forward to celebrating the 2021 holidays with friendship, music, laughter and good times after sitting out 2020 due to the pandemic lockdown.

Experienced dancers (at Mainstream Level or beyond) are welcome to start at any time-the more the merrier, whatever the season. A new session for beginners will be announced later in 2022. Beginners commit to regular attendance to learn the calls which are then combined into different patterns that are set to various genres of music. There’s sure to be some holiday themed music for the December dances.

The Oakmont Squares meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 PM at the East Rec Center. Donation is $6 per person.

Come dance in a square and make a circle of friends. For information call Jenny at 707-367-2102.
