The Just for Fun Games Club is again having its annual New Year’s Eve celebration. It will be at the East Rec Center on December 31 beginning at 6:00pm and going until around 9:00pm. Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member to attend. Vaccination and masks are required. Please RSVP to Phil Herzog at

It’s a potluck party, please plan to bring an appetizer, salad, main dish, or dessert to share. Bring your own beverage, plates and service; or paper and plastic will be available. The night will begin with a heartfelt welcome, then move on to food, then it’s game time, and the N.Y. apple drop at 9pm. Please feel free to bring any games that you would like to play or you think others may like to play.


Are you interested in learning the card game Hand and Foot? The club is offering lessons weekly (in person) beginning Saturday, January 8 at 1:00pm. Please respond if you are interested so the teachers can be prepared.


Come play Pan on Saturday January 15th and January 29th. If you are interested in playing this very sociable and exciting card game please sign up for the ongoing Pan games. The Just for Fun Games Club is a great place to make friends and play all sorts of old and new games including board games, card games, tile games and dice games! Meet in the Card and Game Room at the CAC every Saturday at 1 p.m. (Currently meetings are alternating between playing in person or playing online. Please call ahead to confirm the schedule.) There are multiple games being played at the same time, so you will always be able to choose what game you want to play. It’s never too serious – because we play games Just for Fun!
The club has a large collection of games on hand and players often bring new and different games as well. If you have any games that you would like to donate or lend to the club, please let us know. Everyone is welcome to come and have a good time at the Just for Fun Games Club.
