Golden State Stimulus II Information

The Golden State Stimulus II payments will begin distribution this month. in order to qualify, you MUST file a 2020 California Tax return not later than October 15, 2021. You also must meet these criteria:
– Have California Adjusted Gross Income between $1 to $75,000
– Have wages of less than $75,000
– Be a current California resident as well as a resident for more than half of 2020

If you are one of those people, AARP Tax Aide can still help you file a tax return for 2020 at no cost. Simply call 707-536-1518 to get an appointment at the Summer Tax Clinic, held Mondays at Franklin Park Clubhouse (near the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery). Please note you must either show proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid 19 test and must wear a mask while in the building. All tax preparers have been vaccinated and will also be wearing masks.
