Free Zoom Classes by JoRene

Classes continue on Zoom— for now. As we near the end to Covid19 restrictions, we can look back with fondness on what we’ve accomplished this past year. We can thank JoRene for the health, vitality, and positive attitude her OHI classes have provided.

We always knew we benefited from regular workouts, we just didn’t know how much. With the shutdown of Berger and all events therein, we vowed to continue exercising, even if our efforts were less than ideal. “I don’t put the same oomph in my home exercising as I do when we’re in a group,” one member confesses. Another chimes in: “I really didn’t like the Zoom class…so my husband and I started walking up Crestridge and TrailRidge instead.” She quickly adds: “I will definitely return to JoRene’s class!” Peggy submits yet another perspective: “As far as the OHI classes, I would love it if they continue on Zoom even after they are in person again.” she says. “I love that I can do it at home even if I am not dressed yet.”

All three agree on one point: Exercising helps maintain physical and mental health, especially during this past year. Peggy comes right to the point: “My motivation to exercise is that it works. I can still do the things I could do when I was 20 years old and I am 78 now. I make it a high priority.”

Hopefully OHI Free Fitness Classes will soon be open again. In person!
