Happy New Year’s from the Community Church

Happy New Year’s from all of us to all of you. I trust you had a glorious Christmas. We had a great time celebrating the birth of Jesus. Did you know the baby born in the manager and the man who died on the cross and on the third day resurrected from the grave is one and the same? Jesus’ birth brought light into the world and his resurrection gave us the hope of our own resurrection. He is the light of the world. Think about the most glorious sunrise and sunset you have ever seen; well, that pales in comparison to the everlasting light that Jesus brings. Speaking of light, did you happen to see our mini light parade pass by about 10 days ago? As we drove through the neighborhood, we prayed for you and our community. (Of course, I am writing this article in advance so, you will have to take me at my word that what I am saying we did, we actually did. Wink, wink) On another note, would you like to know more about Jesus and how he can be the light of your world? Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am in the Central Activity Center or for one of our Bible studies. You can always call me, and I will be happy to come by and talk with you. Happy New Year, Pastor Brinda
