Happy almost Easter… We are so excited to be spending Easter back in the Berger. Jesus has risen, praise the Lord. We can try to bury Truth, but it is not dead. We can try to bury Love, but it cannot be contained. Jesus is alive, He won the victory of sin and death. This earth is only our temporary home and in Christ we have been given the gift of eternal life. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead proves there is life beyond the grave for those who believe. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me” and He also said in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…” What hope, joy and comfort it is to know beyond a shadow of doubt that this life is not the end. Come celebrate the risen Lord with us this Easter.
Coming Soon
We are geering up for our 50th Anniversary as a church both serving and worshipping here in Oakmont. The anniversary was actually this past December, but unfortantely, with being in the CAC and being displaced from our long time home due to the remodel of the East Rec, we had to postpone it. We are planning a wonder lunch or dinner with music for our enjoyment. Our hopes is to have our celebration not too long after we return home. Members and guest keep an eye out for the official date.
