SIR 92 feels that our partnership with the Redwood Empire Food Bank (Food Bank) and our wonderful neighbors in Oakmont makes a dent in the ongoing struggle to provide food to those without. The Food Bank provides the equivalent of $60,000,000 worth of food each year. There are 100,000 people each month who rely on the Food Bank. Of these, 67,000 are homeless.

Because Oakmont cares, we have set a target for November to fill 10 food barrels prior to Thanksgiving. To accomplish this, we need all of our Community that can do so to donate non-perishable items into the food barrels. You will find the barrels at the Berger, the CAC, the East Rec. and near the pool at the West Rec. Be as generous as you can so everyone may have a full stomach.
