APRIL 18 INTERMEDIATE HIKE, SANTA ROSA CREEK TRAIL
We will traverse the North and South sides of the creek from Fulton Rd. to just past Willowside Rd. Tranquil views of countryside, vineyards, wildlife and farm animals. One side paved, the other gravel, may be muddy. Flat terrain. In and out 4.5 miles. Leave Berger at 9 a.m. Hike leader is Marilyn Pahr, 541-6430.
APRIL 18 LONG HIKE, OAT HILL MINE TRAIL
The hike is 9 miles long and about 1,500 feet elevation gain to the old Homestead and back. We will leave Berger center at 8:30 a.m. riding to Calistoga. Beautiful wild flowers should be plentiful. Bring water, lunch and poles recommended. Leader is Lynn Pelletier, Yvelinepelletier@gmail.com
APRIL 25 LONG HIKE, HMRP – McCORMICK – SLRSP
This 11-mile strenuous hike, with an elevation gain of 2500 feet, will start at the Los Alamos entrance to Hood Mtn. Regional Park, travel through McCormick, and end at Sugarloaf Ridge SP. Hikers should bring a lunch with plenty of liquids and plan on crossing some rugged terrain. Depart from the Berger Center at 8:30 a.m. Hike leader is Dave Chalk, 539-8847.
APRIL 25 INTERMEDIATE HIKE, BON TEMPE/LAGUNITAS LAKES LOOP

This lakeshore loop is a 5.5-mile hike with 450 feet elevation gain. Because the trails are in the Mt. Tam watershed near Fairfax, California, we will depart from the Berger Center at 8:30 AM. Bring poles, liquids and lunch. Hike leader is Holly Kelley 630-247-6562.
A REMINDER TO ALL HIKERS: If the hiking trail is more than 30 miles round trip from Oakmont, it is customary to compensate your driver at least $5.00 for gas.
