MAY 16 INTERMEDIATE HIKE – POINT REYES – MUDDY HOLLOW

A long distance for Intermediates, this is a 7-8 mile hike along the Muddy Hollow and Estero Trails in Point Reyes. There are some minor ups and downs totaling about 600’. Be prepared for a stream crossing and some possible muddy areas. Bring water and lunch; boots and poles are recommended. Leave Berger at 9:00 a.m. Hike leader is Becky Brown, 282-9941.

MAY 16 LONG HIKE – NAPA SKYLINE WILDERNESS PARK

A moderately strenuous hike of 9.5 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 1300 feet. Grand views of the Napa Valley at a private park. Lunch, plenty of liquids, and weather appropriate clothing recommended. Hike leader is Dave Chalk, 539-8847. Leave Berger at 8:30 a.m.

MAY 30 INTERMEDIATE HIKE – FOOTHILLS REGIONAL PARK – WINDSOR

This hike is 5 miles, which includes 3 out and backs on three loop trails to lakes. There are good trails that meander through woodlands with

ups and downs and approximately 400 feet in elevation gain. Parking is $7 per car, if you don’t have a Regional Park Pass. Leave Berger at 9:00 a.m. Bring water and lunch. Hike leaders are Greg and Jan Conklin, 539-4099.

MAY 30 LONG HIKE – TRIONE-ANNADEL STATE PARK THROUGH HIKE

Please join us for a 10-mile hike with an elevation gain of 1483 feet starting at the Cobblestone trailhead on Channel Drive, traversing through Trinone-Annadel and finishing at the East Recreation Center. Meet at Berger Center for an 8:30 a.m. departure. Bring lunch, water and hiking poles. The hike leaders are Randy & Kathy Vincent, 707-331-8007 or hikingohc@gmail.com

A REMINDER TO ALL HIKERS: If the hiking trail is more than 30 miles round trip from Oakmont, it is customary to compensate your driver at least $5.00 for gas.
