AUGUST 22: INTERMEDIATE HIKE – TIBURON / BLACKIE’S PASTURE
We will walk from Blackie’s Pasture in Tiburon on a paved trail along Richardson Bay, to the Ark Row shops which are housed in converted turn-of-the-century houseboats, past the San Francisco Yacht Club, down Main Street to our lunch spot on the bay with spectacular views of the Golden Gate, San Francisco and Angel Island. A round-trip walk of approximately 5.5 miles with no elevation gain.

AUGUST 22: LONG HIKE – SKY – BEAR VALLEY LOOP
An awesome 12-mile hike with coastal views and a waterfall beach. Follow Bear Valley Trail before turning right to ascend the Mft. Wittenberg Trail 1300 ft. elevation change. Continue the trail to the junction and follow Sky Trail south to the Coast Trail. A lunch detour to the north on the Coast Trail will bring you Kelham Beach. Return south on the Coast Trail to the Bear Valley Trail. Bring plenty of water, lunch, and hiking poles. Hike Leader Chris Sork, 707-495-3196
AUGUST 29: INTERMEDIATE HIKE – SONOMA VALLEY REGIONAL PARK
This is a lovely hike of about 5 miles with approximately 400 feet of elevation gain. We go around a lake, over a couple of hills, cross Arnold Drive and go into Sonoma Developmental Center. We’ll explore some of
the Developmental Center. Our return is on a nice paved trail back to the parking lot. Bring lunch and hiking poles, if you wish. Leave Berger Center at 9:00 a.m. Greg and Jan Conklin 539-4099
