SIR # 92 INVITATION TO ATTEND AUGUST 10 LUNCH
The August 10 lunch features a hot lunch with a hot topic. Members and non-members are invited to learn all about “A Case for Ranked Choice-Voting.”
Dr. Rick Luttmann considers Ranked Choice-Voting the most important way to choosing a candidate. He holds degrees in mathematics from Amherst College (AB), Stanford University (MS), and the University of Arizona (PhD). He has been a Professor of Mathematics at SSU since 1970. While retired from active teaching in 2014, he is still on the faculty as an Emeritus Professor. For many years he taught a general-education mathematics course on “Math and Politics,” in which we covered Voting Systems among other topics.
We will be meeting at the Berger Center at 11:00 A.M. for social time and begin the program at 11:30. Those interested in joining our Sir Branch may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 318 -4633.
