Interested in Teaching or Assisting with Tech Classes?

OTLC promotes computer literacy for Oakmont residents. We are an all-volunteer organization, teaching classes and writing articles for the Oakmont News. We are limited in class offerings due to needing more volunteers. If you want to share your knowledge, we would welcome you. We have the courses designed and have taught them – what we need now are more instructors or classroom assistants who may want to become instructors at some point in the future. It’s a great way to meet other Oakmonters and to share your knowledge.

Our classes are very popular and fill up fast. Mac and PC computers are used or students may bring their personal laptops and/or smartphones/tablets, depending upon the class. We’d love to hear from you if you have interest in volunteering with a great group of people. As a side note, it’s a wonderful way to learn more – when students ask questions, we don’t always know the answers but we know how to find the answers, learning more ourselves in the process.

We will soon be planning our 2022 spring classes. Contact us if you’re interested at www.oakmont-learning.org.
