Jeff Young Leaves Board

Jeff Young, citing health issues, resigned from the OVA Board of Directors at the close of its June 21 meeting

Appointed to the board in late 2001 when Steve Spanier resigned, Young was elected to a full two-year term in April, 2001. He said he has to concentrate on where to spend his energy “and I don’t have much.” He was the board liaison to the 2030 subcommittee. Stories on 2030 appear elsewhere in this issue of the Oakmont News.

Director Iris Harrell told Young that his work on 2030 “Is one of your biggest legacies”. Director Mark Randol thanked him for his work on the board and Association Manager Christel Anton thanked Young on behalf of the OVA staff.
