Lanes/ Wii Bowling (3/15/2019)

Oakmont Lanes Wii Bowling banner

Oakmont Lanes Bowling Club is a Bowling League consisting of four-person teams that utilize Nintendo Wii to simulate the experience of bowling without the weight of a bowling ball. Any resident who has the ability of holding a small remote control in their hand while swinging their arm as if they were rolling a bowling ball will be able to join.

Anyone interested in joining our Club, either as a team bowler or substitute, please call Terry at 538-9177 or Diane at 538-3365 or stop by the West Recreation Center on Tuesdays from 3-4:30pm to see us in action. See www.oakmontlanes.com for Club information and schedules to bring cookies and to setup/teardown equipment.

BOWLING DATES FOR MARCH: West Rec schedule, 1:30 League bowls Tuesdays Mar 12 (2nd Week) and 26 (4th Week), 3-4:30pm. 3:15 League bowls Tuesdays Mar 5 (1st week) and 19 (3rd week), 3-4:30pm.

On March 12, the 1:30 League celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a challenge where a bowler/Substitute won a $5 gift certificate to Safeway if they bowled a strike in the First, Third AND Seventh frames of any game, hence St. Patrick’s Day 03/17. The 3:15 League will celebrate on Mar 19.
