Good to the Last LapFive Weeks of Safety, Sharing and Communicating: As we all know by now, the children will be using the east pool for the very first time along with the East Pool users, both sun worshippers and lap swimmers. Therefore, let’s be safe, friendly and helpful.
The club’s bulletin board has the suggested lane-use diagram for when the pool gets crowded. The underwater black lines are the “dividers” between two users. This allows 10 swimmers at one time. For safety reasons it would be safest not to do the backstroke when crowded and to be extra careful doing breaststroke.
And we shall get through the Central Pool’s saline remodel period. It Takes a Village.
Happy lapping!Melissa Bowers
