WHAT: Beginning Country 2-Step partner dance classes
WHEN: Wednesdays Aug 3, 10 & 17 from 4-5:15 pm
WHERE: Lower West Rec Center
COST: $10 pp for single class. $8 pp if 2 or more classes are purchased at the beginning of 1st class
Country 2-Step is one of the favorite partner dances in Sonoma County. It is an upbeat and fun partner dance that can be danced to lots of great Country Western music as well as to some Swing music. The basic steps will be taught over the course of the 3 classes and each class will build on the material taught in the previous session.
No partners or experience are required. We will rotate partners during the classes. Also, any ladies that want to lead and any men that want to follow are very welcome.
At this time, full vaccination plus at least one booster will be required. Face masks may be required depending on the local community Covid status at the time the classes start.
Partner dancing is a great way to get exercise for both our bodies and brains. It definitely is fun and can improve balance and lift our spirits.
