Viewpoint of a Marine Correspondent:

The Oakmont Vets Club is proud to present USMC Sgt. Hank Kelty’s perspective on his experience as a Photojournalist in Vietnam. Throughout the course of Hank’s 1½ years in-country, (which includes the TET offensive of 1968), he exhibited a knack for covering different decisive moments in the war. He took photographs and submitted stories for such well known publications as Stars and Stripes and Leatherneck Magazine.

Among his awards, Hank received one for the Best Combat Story by the Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Association. Known at times for his irreverence, former Sgt. Kelty can be counted on for his unscripted, sage, but honest perspectives.

Sound interesting? It will be!

Please join us (one & all), for an informative and thought-provoking presentation by one of our own. 4-5:30 pm, the last day of June (Thursday 6/30) at the Berger Center.
