A hearty group of fellas meet up each Monday morning at the Sugarloaf Golf Course to play friendly and fun games of golf. The game format alternates each week between Individual Low Net scoring then alternate Mondays featuring “games” such as 2-Man Best Ball; 2-Man Team Scramble; 2-Man Shamble; 3-Club Monte; etc. To date, the group consists of forty-two registered players, of which general turnout is between 16 to 26 players depending upon weather, vacations, and other player commitments. We welcome new players – if interested email: stanaugustine@icloud.com. A registration form ($20 annual fee), a schedule of game play, and a sheet outlining game procedures will be emailed to you. Each member must register with NCGA and have a handicap on record.

Since the 2021 year began, the group has played twelve Mondays, with eleven different first place scorers (led by Tony D’Agosta and Charlie Perotti each with three) followed closely at two overall wins by Neil Huber and Bob Hancock. Twenty-nine different players have made it to the leader board with Ron Bassolino and Peter Haggerty making regular appearances on scoresheet. Weekly results will be shared as the year develops.
