Neighborhood Gatherings Are A Thing!

Last Updated: 09-14-18

Our first neighborhood gathering was a huge success and more will be coming up over the next few weeks. Directors Al Medeiros, Tom Kendrick and Steve Spanier listened to comments and fielded questions about hot Oakmont topics from about 20 Hillsdale neighborhood residents. Topics included fire safety, the golf club, granny units, dues increases and others.

BCC chair Iris Harrell hosted the gathering at her home. Neighbors and board members visited informally over snacks and drinks and then sat in a circle sharing ideas and building community. OVA staffer Christel Antone took notes to help ensure appropriate board follow-up.
