Reminder – Deadline is Friday Noon, May 17th to register your pup for any OakMutt Doggy Day event. This “just-for-fun” dog show will be on Saturday June 1st starting at 10AM at the Berger Greensward area and patio. You can register your 4-legged BFF (Best Friend Forever) to participate in several of many events. There is a category for just about every kind of dog.

The first judged event will be the “Best Dressed” competition, which includes a doggy parade! We have a special category called most “Radiant Rescue.” If your dog is a rescue or is from a shelter, then this category is for you. Maybe your fur baby has a best friend and is a contender for “Best Buddies” or perhaps your dog has a talent and could win “Best Trick”. We have something for everyone. There is even a category for “Bad Hair Day.”

No Cost to enter your dog; But you must pre-register by Friday May 17th to join the fun. A full list of categories can be found on the registration form in the Canine Club folder at the OVA office All Oakmont residents are invited; you do not have to be a Canine Club member to participate.

Don’t have a furry friend? Do come by and watch the fun! There will be music, hot dogs, and a lineup of local vendors providing info on: pet adoption services, grooming, therapy dog certification, books, and even a caricaturist to draw a commemorative picture of your dog. You could also win a raffle prize? Don’t miss this fun event.
