Hello Beloved Community
What a joy this time of year is. For Christians, we pause as we focus our attention to the Advent, which is about the celebration of the birth of Christ and the anticipation of the second coming of Christ for His church. It is a tie of Hope, Joy, Peace and Love. Jesus is the light of the world and to recognize His light we decorate our homes with lights. If you get a chance, drive by the Manse on Oakmont Drive for our display of Christmas lights. Speaking of Christmas lights, every year we drive around in a lighted up truck with Christmas music praying for the residents in our community. This year we shall be doing the same. We are considering going out more than one night so that we can cover more streets than we have in the past. Look for our truck to come down your street between December 21st – 23rd. I really doubt we will be able to worship this Christmas Eve indoors, so we are considering a drive-in candle lighting and communion service on Christmas Eve. Stay in your warm cars and enjoy the service with others safely in their cars while listening to the service on the radio FM 88.7. We are planning on using the Berger Parking Lot. If it is raining, we will pitch a tent, so don’t let rain stop you from worshipping our Lord. Watch for an e-blast to confirm this event. This is an important time for Believers and I pray that everything will work to allow us to worship on this holy night. I sure hope you will plan on joining us. Blessings and Peace, Pastor Brinda

9/11 Memories and Exercise

Today we remember the day that shocked and shook the world with a painful look back. This is also a time to look ahead at how to mitigate lingering negative responses. Living in constant concern, anxiety and fear robs the good from each day. Deep breathing and reading comics may be ways to cope. Talking to a positive person might be another. And still a third: exercise.
