Those April showers, (as well as rains in December through March,) bring May flowers. Warm weather, sun and outdoor activities: are you ready? You can get ready by joining any fitness opportunity Oakmont has to offer, including walking! It improves body and brain…and gives you an occasional belly laugh. Note Troy at one of the recent Free Fitness classes. Think he’s having fun? Think he’s exercising? Think he’s a good sport in the Bollywood exercise class, wearing a Belly Dance Hip Scarf? Come, join Troy and get ready for outdoor fun.

Equipment:  Non-skid yoga mats, knee pad, 3# hand weights, athletic shoes that are supportive but not too grippy. Water bottle – hydration revitalizes.

Fragrance-Free, please. Share the floor with kindness.

Word to the wise: For your safety, good balance and lateral movement are needed in these quick aerobic classes. A fall may cause serious injury. Please check with your doctor prior to beginning this or any exercise regimen. All Free Fitness Classes are too large to accommodate those who need special supervision. If you have shoulder, back, knee problems, anything that is painful, it is advisable to join a smaller, well-supervised class first, and consult a personal trainer or medical professional to learn modifications that are suitable to your condition. Participants need to use their judgment and body awareness… altering each exercise to prevent injury.  Be careful dear ones. Welcome!
