Why am I being asked to “opt-in” or “opt-out”?
This question is required because of Senate Bill 323 which became effective on January 1, 2020. This bill requires that we provide your email address to people running for the Board of Directors, but also allows for you to opt-out of having your email provided to people running for the Board.
Whether your choose to “opt-in” or “opt-out” you will still receive emails from OVA, as long as you click “Subscribe”.
The choice to “opt-in” or “opt-out” only refers to your email address being provided to members of OVA who are running for a seat on the Board of Directors. If you choose to “opt-in” or do not choose a preference your email address may be provided to OVA members running for the Board. If you choose to “opt-out” your email address will not be provided to OVA members running for the Board. Please send any questions to AskOVA@oakmontvillage.com.
