Peace, Love, & Rock ‘n Roll!

Membership
The Pandemic is still with us, but the Boomers Club is not letting that get us down! We have picked up over 100 new members since January, so our status as the largest club in Oakmont still stands. We had a table at the OVA’s “Join a Club Night” in September, and enjoyed talking to each of you who stopped by. Now all you need to do is visit oakmontboomers.org, and click “join” to get in on the fun. The fee is only $10 per person, per year.

Planning for 2022
Our board is busy planning events for the coming year. As it stands now, we will have six events, four will be dances, one will be a tribute concert and the last will be our annual member appreciation/holiday party. We will be adding some new bands and bringing back some of your favorites. You won’t want to miss any of these evenings. The way to guarantee that you can attend is to join our club.

Board Position Open
Want to help plan events? Want to work with some really great people? Our Treasurer, Lou Kinzler is resigning, effective at the end of the year. As a result, we are looking for someone to fill that position. The Treasurer is in charge of the checkbook, which Lou has meticulously maintained, so stepping into the position should not be difficult. If you are interested, please contact one of our board members-Olivia Kinzler, Connie Lachowicz, Cindi Clemence, Lou Kinzler, Annette Danielle, Heidi Klyn or Carolita Carr.
