As science grows and impacts daily life, resistance is generated and expressed in the political arena. That process will be studied in detail; beginning with WWII, examining the environmental movement, technology, religion, climate change an anti-science backlash and more.

Instructor Bio:
James Pedgrift is a former Mayor of Santa Rosa, City Council member, teacher at Rancho Cotati HS and Sonoma State University. He holds advanced degrees in Statistics and the History and Philosophy of Science.
