SIR Branch has Resumed Activities

We’re on the road back after COVID shutdown. Two Picnic gatherings were held in September/October and “Dining with Friends” restarted in November. With thanks to Branch 93’s gracious invitation to their Holiday Dinner Dance, many of our members will assemble during December.

And on January 26, we will have our first regular Luncheon since February 2020. Melissa Kelley, Executive Director of the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation will give an overview of our regional park system. You’ll be surprised to hear of the breadth and diversity of the various parks in our Sonoma County Park system. Mark your calendars and invite a friend too.

The Oakmont Mac Users Group event previously scheduled for Jan. 22 has been postponed due to concerns regarding COVID-19. We will plan to hold our next meeting on March 19. Please stay tuned for more information.

RESCHEDULED: Trash-Can Composting

Concern about the renewed COVID spread and Omicron Variant has been expressed to us. Additionally, we are advised that the parking lot at the East Rec will be closed to car traffic for that week. To that end, the Oakmont Garden Club feels it is prudent to cancel the January 11th General Meeting. Shirley Phillips presentation of “Trash Can Composting” is rescheduled to March 9. Please accept our apologies.
