Stanford Club: Talk, Trips and Sips

Stanford Alumni Banner
  • by Jean Nattkemper

We’ll celebrate the new year by meeting on Thursday, February 28 in the Fireside Room at Berger Center to munch on hors d’oeuvres and sip wine. We’ll also do some brainstorming to gather ideas for this year’s club activities. Whether you’re interested in short field trips, lunches, or parties, make your voice heard. We welcome all suggestions, especially those from new members, who may well have fresh ideas.

Up for discussion, too, is the status of our association with the larger Sonoma County Stanford Club. Rather than officially affiliating with the county club, we may publicize their events in our column and choose to participate in any of their activities. That’s what our present Board proposes, but we want your opinions.

For those who are not familiar with the Stanford Club, we offer activities during the year, such as our popular summer and Big Game parties. The club welcomes all alumni, families of present and former Stanford students, and those interested in “The Farm” and Stanford activities.

Questions? New members may call Kay Nelson (538-8777), Dorelle Aasland (537-1518), Carol Cotton (538-4205), or Jean Nattkemper (537-7783.

A reminder…. Please don’t forget to pay your 2019 dues. You may fill out the coupon below and leave it in the club folder in the OVA office.
