Tea With Lee
Thursday, August 11, 2022 3:00 p.m.

The location of this event has been changed.  It has been moved to Berger Center, Fireside Area.

On August 11, 2022 the Soroptimist International Oakmont Wine Country club is hosting a special event featuring fifth generation Sonoma County native and local historian, Lee Torliatt. Mr. Torliatt, age 90 years, served as Vice President of the Sonoma County Historical Society and has written books about local history.

How did chickens and Petaluma meet up and become the “World’s Egg Basket?” Was Santa Rosa damaged in the great earthquake of 1906? How hard was Sonoma County hit by the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918? What was the Santa Rosa – Petaluma “Big Game” riot of 1943?
The Oakmont Soroptimists welcome any and all who would enjoy hearing Mr. Torliatt share some of his knowledge about Sonoma County history. Iced tea and cookies from local woman-owned business Cookies . . . Take a Bite! will be served.
