Thank you for a successful Shred-A-Thon

The Oakmont Shred-A-Thon on January 28th went very smoothly. We are learning the ropes, I guess. Look for Kiwanis members to return in six months for the next Shred-A-Thon. Kiwanians enjoy being able to do this service for the Oakmont Community.
You may have noticed that age is catching up to most of the hard working Kiwanians. We could use more members who like to do service projects for others. Please consider joining us. Contact President Fran Lazzarini by email:franlazz43@aol.com or phone 928-202-1105.
Kiwanis is a service club helping our schools, students, children’s support organizations and our communities. We are often asked if we can take on a project in Oakmont like the Shred-A-Thon and the Veteran’s Day Program. To keep on doing these activities we need volunteers like you. With more helping hands the work is shared and it is always fun and keeps us moving and our brains working.
The Kiwanis Club wants to thank you for the outpouring of donations for our local school’s Scholarships which are awarded to graduating members of the Montgomery and Maria Carrillo key clubs as students head off to college. Other Sonoma County Kiwanis Clubs support the remaining local high schools.
