Vaccine Appointments Are Available For Residents 75-Plus

2/4/2021 UPDATE: Additional appointments available on Feb. 5 and 8. Safeway has allocated 100 additional appointments on Friday, Feb. 5 and Monday, Feb 8. Sign up at the link below. You must be 75 or older. 

If you are 75 or over The Berger Center will be used to administer doses on Feb. 4, 5 and 8 by appointment only between hours 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be made through this website:  

County health officials and Safeway have committed to 900 total vaccines for these three days and are trying to add more vaccination days for the Oakmont site, pending the availability of vaccine. Second doses of the Moderna vaccine, which must be administered four weeks later, will be done on March 4 and 5 and 8 at the Berger.  

Residents who receive the first dose will be required to sign up for the second dose after the administration of the first dose but not before.  

If you need transportation to the Berger – Put A Call Into Monty, the Oakmont Bus 

Do you need a ride to get your Vaccine?  You can use the local Route 16 Oakmont Circulator (or as the riders call it “Monty”).  Just call (707) 546-1999 to schedule at least 2 hours ahead (or as soon as you have your appointment) and depending on your address the bus can come to the curb at your house to pick you up.   Also inquire about weekday service around Oakmont (see the schedule at:, to shopping destinations or the new PILOT grocery delivery service.
