Visual Aids Workshop will be returning to the West Rec Center every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. starting on June 21.

Founded in 1971 by a retired teacher and ten Oakmont friends, the Oakmont Visual Aids Workshop has over 100 volunteers meeting regularly and has produced over 100,000 Tactile Aids. These are lovingly made by hand and sent worldwide, free of charge, to professionals teaching visually and mentally impaired children. Donations support this incredible effort. If you’re interested in participating please contact 538-5321.
