VALLEY OF THE MOON TUESDAY WOMEN’S GOLF (VOMTWG): After a year long break, The Valley of the Moon Tuesday Women’s Golf began its new season on April 6. For those of you new to Oakmont or looking for an opportunity to stay active through golf and socialize with a fun group of women, VOMTWG is your answer.

A little about us. We currently have fifty-three members who play every Tuesday morning on the Valley of the Moon (west) course with tee times beginning at 8:00 AM. Each week, golfers participate in friendly competitions and games made more enjoyable because of the great comradery among the ladies. Our abilities range from single digit handicaps to those of us who picked up golf after retirement and just enjoy the fresh air and activity. All you need is the desire to play golf, meet new people, and a handicap index (GHIN). If you need to establish a handicap index, we can guide you through the steps. VOMTWG will arrange a two-month grace period during which you may play on Tuesdays as our guest. Once you have accrued five scores a handicap index can be established. At that time, you will be able to join us officially as a member of the Valley of the Moon Tuesday Women’s Golf.

We hope we have piqued your interest in VOMTWG! Please stop by the Pro Shop to pick up a membership application. Membership in the Valley of the Moon Golf Club is not a requirement to join the Tuesday women’s golf group.
