OLBC VOLUNTEERS SAVED OVA MONEY!
The green was closed twice in May, for verticutting and for fertilizing so it’s ready for bowlers to come out and bowl.

And when you’re bowling on the green, remember to thank those who showed up to help clean up as True North did the verticutting. These valued bowlers showed up at the break of dawn on a cold, foggy morning to follow behind the verticutter, cleaning up the chopped grass. Their attention to detail doesn’t just mean that the green is in better shape, it also saved OVA the cost of having True North do the clean-up!

Our volunteer team, lead by Jim Krause and Bob Dodd:

DIDN’T SOMEONE PROMISE A REFRESHER COURSE?
Contact Jim Krause if you’d like a refresher course before going back to bowling. I got the impression he’d LOVE to do some training!

Living in constant concern, anxiety and fear robs the good from each day. Deep breathing and reading comics may be ways to cope. Talking to a positive person might be another. And still a third: exercise.
