In the 1950s and 60s, women performers were crucial to making rock’n’roll the world’s most popular music. With both common and rare recordings and video clips, the course will highlight the greats like the Supremes and the Shirelles as well as women songwriters, producers and journalists.
Richie Unterberger is the author of numerous rock history books, including titles on the Beatles, the Who, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, and the Velvet Underground.
Lifelong Learning will be following all state and county COVID guidelines. Masks are required in OVA facilities. PROOF OF VACCINATION WILL BE REQUIRED.
